Kevin Randleman prefers to stand by open flames

Several sites are reporting that Kevin Randleman has already signed with Strikeforce, but nothing has been signed on paper says Scott Coker from Thursdays press conference. MMAjunkie is reporting that Randleman needs to work out licensing issues with the California State Athletic Commission.

Strikforce is interested in Kimbo Slice and they are in negotiations to bring him aboard. Slice virtually was the downfall for EliteXC, so hopefully he won’t be a Terrell Ownens type and continue to destroy teams.

Gina Carano is holding out but Coker remains hopefull that she will be signed in time for a May event that is headlined by Robbie Lawler and Jake Shields. A much anticipated bout with Lady Cyborg will have to wait.

If they can pull it off that would be some big names behind the organization. And given that Dana has not targeted them as a threat helps. But I would rather see Carano and Randleman sign with Affliction and help that organization.
