Ryan Jenson Not Cleared to Fight on Ultimate Fight Night 18
By Garrett Bailey
Looks like ADHD is to blame for the now scrapped fight between Ryan Jenson and Steve Stienbeiss. Jenson told the Nevada State Athletic Commission that he was taking Adderall, which is on the banned substance list.
“Adderall acts as a cario-vascular restrictor and that’s the main reason it’s banned because it can cause athletes to have a cardiac episode with the stress they’re under when they’re in an athletic competition. Secondly, it can have a performnace-enhancing effect as well.”
At least Jenson told them before he fought instead of pulling a Karo Parisyan and getting fined $32,000 dollars.
